The Story so Far

Carbon Black is the brainchild of Paul Naden, ex Gumballer and supercar enthusiast, Paul decided he wanted
to up the game from existing car rallies and so in 2006 he put on the first Carbon Black with a group of friends
and drivers he had met from the rallying world. The first event saw us drive from the exclusively hired Leeds
Castle in Kent through to Bordeaux, Barcelona, Geneva and finish in style with our friends being flown in on
Carbon Black's jet to celebrate the finish together in Milan.

2007 saw the increase of cars on the grid and an extention to the services we provided to our drivers from the
feedback we received. Driving through Bosnia and Serbia meant that we had to ensure the safety of all our
drivers and crew. We employed, the ex French President Chirac's own security to not only track all cars and
be close enough to all our drivers should they have a problem, but they were also on hand to ensure smooth
passing at every border on the route. Each of our events now has a specialist security contingent and
paramedics on hand 24 hours a day.

Working alongside them is Big Rob(ex Gumballer) and his team of mechanics that are there to get you back on the road whatever the problem, driving to assist all drivers with a problem and sometimes working through the night to fix the cars and get them on the grid for the following morning.

Each year the routes are tested, ............then tested again by Pete (from Ant and Pete) making sure the roads are not only in good enough condition for the supercars but to also ensure great driving and that the routes are not repetitive, taking you off the highways to experience amazing views and unique lunch stops, such as the monastery ruins in Umbria in 2008's leg into Rome.

If you have heard anything at all about Carbon Black, it might possibly have been about the infamous parties,
from Pirate ships off the coast of Dubrovnik to a Communist Palace in Bulgaria, to a disused brewery in
Venice and a 180ft super yacht in Monaco. Each party sees an unlimited bar and menu for everyone, ensuring
the best food and drink we can get our hands on. We take a team from the UK to style, theme and pull
together extraordinary nights. International DJ's and world famous acts are flown in and we are now known for
the Firework shows that we celebrate the start and close parties.......along with the girls show stopping outfits!

Each car has 2 support girls on hand throughout the week to make sure you have everything you need, from
getting you up in the morning to making sure your favorite Bourbon is on the table at dinner, the group of 30
models also know how to get the party going!

So........we are announcing the new route for 2009, to be held 10th - 16th October to drivers and their
recommended friends. After long deliberation and plenty of driving!! We have set the route and we are
delighted that we will be rallying over unchartered territory, in an unprecedented attempt to take go out of our
